Topic: There are many ways to find a job: newsletter ads, internet job search websites, and personal recommendation. What do you think is the best way to find jobs? Give reasons or examples to support your opinion.
Answer:
I think the internet is currently the best place to find a job. Here’s why.
Thanks to the impeccable world wide web, I was able to reach out to various job offers from multiple job-search applications. Seeing how many offers have come my way led me to believing in myself and my worth.
(which I would not have achieved if I was knocking on doors on the street trying to find a job)
I actually walked on the street & in stores asking for a job.
Nowadays finding jobs has been easier than ever thanks to the global network expansion and our rapid growing tech-industry. What used to be hours of flipping through the yellow pages, has now evolved into just a few taps and scrolls on one’s smartphone device. Who knew the world of countless opportunities can be gathered all in the palm of your hand?
Nevertheless, the web doesn’t only allow people to find jobs one the tap of their finger, even the interview portion can be conducted in the comfort of your own home! With the easy access of finding jobs, I was able to achieve many career goals I have in mind. It was through the application that I was able to find opportunities to explore international business, I worked in various prestigious institutions, Taipei world trade center and Taipei 101 just to name a few.
All in all, I highly recommend using the internet to find jobs, it allows you to find jobs across borders! In contrast to the old fashioned way of job seeking.
